How to Apply

NSERC, FPInnovations and NRCan hosted a series of workshops on each of the research themes in 2009. These workshops, held at various locations across the country, served to identify network researchers and projects through discussion and consensus.

Network proposals were then drafted and submitted to FPInnovations for industry approval before being submitted to NSERC for peer review.

In January 2010, NSERC approved the funding of four new networks: Biomaterials and Chemicals, Green Fibre, Innovative Wood Products and Building Systems, and Value Chain Optimization.
